CENELEC strongly supports and has been deeply involved in the ELECTRA project: a joint Industry/European Commission initiative, under which a group of experts in the electrotechnical and electromechanical field have identified the challenges and proposed recommendations to ensure the long-term competitiveness of European industry in a globalizing world and to support the European Climate Change Programme through the energy efficiency technologies that industry provides.
